L-J "Gadget Girl" Rich has become one of the faces of digital television. Some of you may recognise her from her days at BID-UP.TV, the live auction TV channel. She moved on from there to short-lived live music and current affairs station WHEREITS.AT. Now, she's turning up on the trio of SIMPLY SHOPPING channels, plus QVC, and most recently on the AUCTION WORLD station.

L-J comes from a musical background, playing the piano from the tender age of 3 years old. She won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music at 11, continued her studies at Oxford and went on to become a sound engineer for Pete Waterman. She toured the USA in a rock 'n' roll band, still gigs occasionally and writes her own songs.

Nowadays Laura-Jane combines her musical talent with a love of all things technological as well as being a confirmed Science Fiction fan (the more explosions, the better!). L-J also enjoys training in acrobatic tumbling and playing the piano - upside down!

For more information, visit her website at www.laurajanerich.com

Recently voted Best New TV Drama by The People’s Choice Awards 2008 in the USA, Moonlight is already leaving its mark on Stateside viewers and arrives on LIVING this month.

Private Investigator Mick St John (Alex O’Loughlin, Detective Kevin Hiatt in The Shield) is a vampire who ironically makes it his mission to help people, rather than adhere to the usual vampiric tendencies. He teams up with beautiful and tenacious reporter Beth Turner (Sophia Myles, Lady Penelope in the "Thunderbirds" movie, as well as Reinette in the Doctor Who episode "Girl In The Fireplace").

Mick makes it his mission to uncover murders and mysteries, and protect the innocent. Garlic and ornate crucifixes are no match for this modern-day vampire; a stake through the heart will only render a vampire paralysed ... but only until someone kindly removes it.

We are delighted to announce that satellite channel film24 has begun transmitting the Kevin Jon Davies documentary on Cult TV - expect to see it in their schedules several times over the next few weeks.

And now you can download it from JOOST - as soon as you have downloaded their nifty software to your computer that makes it all happen!

Filmed during our 2007 Festival Weekender at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire, there are several versions of the programme, and the full cut made its debut on Sunday 17 February at 9.00pm - 9.40pm on Sky Channel 158.

When a fairly new label releases DVD product, the sea of other releases from their more well-known counterparts can often drown out their efforts. This has certainly been the case for Alternative 3 from Soda Pictures.

Released last October, this is a mock-documentary of considerable legend in some circles. However, amongst the general UK audience it has almost been forgotten, despite it having a considerable impact on its viewers with its original (and only UK) screening on ITV, 20 June 1977.

Cult TV's format guides detail the onscreen background of the series or programme in question, major happenings in the ongoing storyline of the series, and the cast and their characters.

We also like to note the number of episodes, whether they were filmed in colour or black and white, whether there are any episodes known to be missing from the archives, and the length of the episodes. In terms of production personnel we tend to limit ourselves to the principal producers, directors and writers.

Do let us know if there is any other information you feel should be included in oru format guides.

For selected series we also produce episode guides, which are located in their own sub-category on this website.

It's a little bit frightening when you think that it has been five years since the main CULT TV website has had any sort of refit. However, if a job's worth doing it's worth doing well, so we are proud to present a brand new look, with a brand new 'back office' to bring you more essential television information quicker and better.
